Reviews and Ratings
The hotel room, though on the smaller side, was comfortable and had all the usual amenities you'd expect. However, it didn't offer good views despite requests as a gold member. The large and nice room was a plus, but being near a Hyatt House might be quieter and more affordable.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were spacious and had a nice 'bar/kitchenette' as well as 3 bathrooms, but they started to smell badly of smoke halfway through the trip, and the staff didn't offer to move us to a different room, which made the experience unpleasant. The location was convenient, near a lively area with shops and restaurants, but the view of a power substation from the pool was off-putting.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was lively right next to some bar/clubs, providing great nightlife opportunities, but that also meant it was loud at times. The rooms had a strong smoke smell that was not resolved when we raised the issue, although we did receive a complimentary upgrade eventually. Offsite dining was available at the W with fresh local products, but not directly at the hotel. Despite the noise and room odor, the central location and vibrant surroundings were a plus.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were cozy but a bit small, and they offered complimentary water alongside other drinks and snacks for a price. On the bright side, the rooms were well-equipped with luxurious features like 2 rooms, 3 bathrooms, walk-in closets, a sub-zero kitchen, and a complete renovation.
The hotel is like a dormitory with no separate bathroom area, smack dab overlooking an alley and parking lot. Although there are complimentary water and drinks for a price, the room lacks a balcony and fresh air, making it not ideal for an extended stay.
Upon entering our room, we were pleasantly surprised by Holly, the concierge, who welcomed us with champagne, beautiful red roses, and a written note. However, our room faced the noisy main Old Town club strip and started to smell of smoke, with no offer to change rooms and an unpleasant response from staff when we raised the issue late at night.
